Massage Sessions

Ayurveda Thai Massage

Beth’s Ayurveda Thai Massage fuses passive yoga-like stretches and deep massage.  Sessions are tailored to the client’s psycho-physical profile to bring balance and harmony to the body and mind. Dietary and lifestyle factors are addressed for achieving optimal health. Ayurveda oils are used on head, feet and hands. Clients may wear comfortable clothing. 60 and 90 minute sessions are available.

 

Zen Shiatsu Massage

Chrissy’s Zen Shiatsu Massage is a form of Shiatsu developed by Shizutu Masunuga who expanded the meridian system. Meridians are the channels through which “chi” or “prana” (vital life force energy) travels. Zen Shiatsu treats the whole meridian system through pressure and stretching using thumbs, palms elbows, feet and knees to achieve systemic change for the entire body. One hour Zen Shiatsu therapy sessions and 1 1/2 hour combination yoga therapy and Zen Shiatsu therapy sessions are available.

Private Lessons


Traditionally, yoga was taught one-on-one.  Private lessons provide a setting in which your individuality can be completely addressed. Yoga posture and breathing exercises are selectively chosen and developed to meet your specific needs. In your private lesson you will be guided by verbal instruction, imagery, demonstration, and hands-on direction, you will explore yoga in a way that is practical and beneficial.

All our teachers at Body Alive work with a diverse range of people applying Yoga uniquely to each person. Most important through private classes you will learn how to listen to your own bodies signals by being present and responsive.
